In a 13G filing on Colony Financial (NYSE: CLNY), Steven A. Cohen's hedge fund SAC Capital disclosed a 5.2%, or 3,280,086 share, stake in the company. This is up 866.71% from the 339,305 shares held at the end of the latest quarter ending September 30, 2012.

Despite being under pressure related to alleged insider trading, Cohen's hedge fund continue trade activly as illustrated by today's filing.

Colony Financial, Inc. is a real estate finance and investment company that is focused on acquiring, originating and managing a diversified portfolio of real estate-related debt and equity investments, including single family homes to be rented to tenants, at attractive risk-adjusted returns.
