In a 13G filing just released to the SEC, SAC Capital disclosed a 5.3% stake (1.05 million shares) in AC Moore Arts & Crafts Inc. (Nasdaq: ACMR). This is up from the 52K share stake the investment firm disclosed in a quarterly regulatory filing.
A.C. Moore operates arts and crafts stores that offer a vast assortment of traditional and contemporary arts and crafts merchandise for a wide range of customers. The Company operates 114 stores in the Eastern United States.
