In a 13G filing just before the close Monday on Metallica Resources Inc. (AMEX: MRB), Highfields Capital disclosed a 5.7% stake (5,329,850 shares) in the junior miner.
Metallica Resources, Inc., through its subsidiaries, engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of precious and base metal properties principally gold and silver in Mexico, Chile, and the United States.
