Fidelity Scoops Up 3 Million 3D Systems Corp. (DDD) Shares

Shares of 3D Systems Corp. (NYSE: DDD) are getting hit mid-day following a post from noted short selling website Citron Research suggesting it is a bubble stock. However, the world's largest mutual fund thinks otherwise.

A mid-day filing from Fidelity parent FMR LLC disclosed a 6.12%, or 3,488,700 share, stake in 3D Systems. This is up 799.85% from the 387,700 shares held at the end of the latest quarter ending September 30, 2012.
