Cohen's Point72 Asset Management, L.P. Raises Stake in SunEdison (SUNE) to 5.1%

In a 13G filing on SunEdison (NYSE: SUNE), Steven Cohen's family office Point72 Asset Management, L.P. disclosed a 5.1%, or 15,954,818 share, stake in the company. This is up 621.19% from the 2,212,300 shares held at the end of the latest quarter ending June 30, 2015.

Notably, SunEdison, considered a "hedge fund hotel", has been destroyed in recent weeks on liquidity worries. Underweight at the end of Q2, Cohen looks to have swooped in to make a killing when the blood of his fellow hedge funders was in the street.
