Relational Investors released their 13F for the quarter ended June 30, 2010.

The value of the disclosed portfolio is down from $6.21 billion at March 31, 2010 to $5.38 billion at June 30, 2010, but it should be noted that cash, short positions and various other securities are not required to be disclosed in the 13F filing.

During the quarter, Relational Investors preferred Allstate to MetLife, and upped Charles River while lowering Genzyme holdings. MetLife, notably, was also the only stock that Relational Investors moved completely out of.
