In a 13D filing on Barrier Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: BTRX), Steven Cohen's SAC Capital disclosed an 8% stake (2,820,200 shares) in the company. The hedge fund changed their filing status from a 13G to 13D.
The firm noted that on June 23 the company entered into a definitive merger agreement with Stiefel Laboratories, Inc.
