ABINGDON, Va., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Alpha Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE: ANR), a leading U.S. coal producer, announced that its chief executive officer, Kevin S. Crutchfield, will appear at two upcoming investor events:

    --  On November 5, 2009, Crutchfield will provide an overview of Alpha

        Mining Conference at the Grand Hyatt New York. The presentation is
